Muğla, Office and Accomodation
You will be located in Muğla, one of the most beautiful city in Türkiye. In Muğla you will be able to find all the facilities you need and experience the main tourist spots. There you can visit museums, explore the city, or find events near you.
The province of Muğla, located in the southwest corner of Turkey where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean, includes popular holiday destinations, such as Gökova, Bodrum, Marmaris, Datça, Milas, Dalyan and Fethiye. With its beautiful resorts, impressive ruins of past civilizations, magnificent landscapes and vast beaches, thermal waters, rich flora and fauna, as well as accommodations, restaurants and entertainment choices to suit every taste, this region has something to offer to everyone.
Muğla, the province’s capital, is a charming city that stretches from the foothills of Asar Mountain onto the plain bearing its name. Muğla, a peaceful and modern city, has a low population growth rate and it is famous for its unique architecture. Since the economic development of the city mostly relies on tourism, Muğla’s natural, cultural, and historical beauty have always been protected. Indeed, Muğla is a city keeping its past for its future.
As Muğla is one of the most touristic city of Türkiye, you will also be able to meet new people.
Accommodation for short and long term volunteers will be in the form of flats or apartments. To increase cultural interaction, ESC volunteers will be able to share homes with local volunteers or students.
The apartments will be designed to be fully furnished and with all necessary tools. Kitchenware, electrical appliances, white goods etc. will be provided free of charge. Volunteers will stay in rooms for a maximum of 2 people.
There will be a kitchen in the volunteers’ homes. Volunteers will be able to cook their own meals at home. The extra money will be given for meals to volunteers in addition to pocket money. In cases where volunteers will go to different places for the activities, meal arrangements will be made free of charge by our association.
Volunteers will be provided with the most hygienic conditions for accommodation and food. Volunteers will also be informed about the general hygiene rules. Cleaning and hygiene materials will be provided by our association. Volunteers will be asked to clean the house at regular intervals, and our local volunteers will also provide support when necessary. The apartment to be accommodated, the association office, and work areas will be periodically sprayed and disinfected.
